BYOW places not heavy on pork
We enjoy byows like Le P'tit Plateau and Bistro L' entrepont but will be having dinner with friends who do not eat pork and prefer fish. Could you suggest places that have menus that have a variety of dishes that are not based on pork or garnished with bacon or pork belly?

I was wondering if Les Heritiers is comparable in quality and price to these excellent suggestions above

re: felix the hound
Felix, I know others might not agree with me, but ever since we started to go to Montreal yearly, we always make Les Heritiers one of our special dinners. The food is excellent, and the staff is wonderful. It's such a comfortable and/or romantic feel. Frederic is the best maitre d' and runs the place perfectly. Try their degustation menu. You can't go wrong with any of your choices. Just a real comfortable place.

I don't consider Le P'tit plateau heavy on pork. I think there is only one pork dish there (besides from the cassoulet).
There's the quite popular Quartier Generale (less French bistro food) but I consider Le P'tit Plateau to be a whole lot better.-----

Madre definitely a good alternative for variety; the sole pork dish is actually pork belly but they don't sprinkle bacon on everything. I'd pick it as well because the flavor profiles will be different than what you're used to which will be a refreshing kind of change.
Bleu Raisin doesn't appear to be that porky. Similar lines of what you do food-wise though.

Poisson Rouge has a good amount of fish on the menu (about half the menu):

Madre, recently converted to BYOW, could fit the bill (alas they have one pork entrée in the menu...)
