Rather than hijacking the thread to semidivine's post on fat-free frozen yogurt ... reading it made me wonder ...

Has anyone ever seen sugar-free frozen yogurt in the L. A. area? If so, any recommendations?

Yogurtland caries a number of no sugar added flavors that are quite good. The flavors do change monthly.

Yogurtland usually has a no-sugar-added flavor. That's not the same thing as sugar free, as there's still fructose and lactose, I suppose. Their nutritional chart says that the NSA flavors have 5-6 grams of sugar per ounce, as opposed to 16+ for the regular flavors.

Haven't got much of a problem with natural fructose, it's the HFCS that whips me. Thanks, I'll check them out.

If you can find a Menchies that'd be my first choice. Yogurtland typically only has one choice in a store at any given time, and some stores don't have any. Menchies usually has at least two at a time, though it's more expensive.

Thanks, as it happens they're pretty prevalent, including one that's walking distance from my office. There's nothing worse than going out of your way for sugar-free ice-cream/yogurt only to find out they didn't make that flavor that day.

After I posted I remembered that Cantaloop in hollywood has a pretty good no-sugar-added vanilla.
