Where To Buy A Whole Pig?

jkhdsf Jun 8, 2011 05:13 PM

Sloping Hill was my first choice but there are some timing issues so it doesn't look hopeful.

I want an ethically raised pig. One that has lived a happy life, free to root, wallow, grunt, and all the other wonderful things that pigs like to do.

Oh and i'm in the Vancouver area but willing to drive.

Also, does anybody know how big of a pig I am going to need to feed 100?

You can try to contact Gelderman Farms. I chatted with them at the Farmers Market and they do offer half or whole pig (cut or not)

Try Two River's Meats or ask at Windsor Meats on Main @25
