Lakepointe Yacht Club - Livonia, MI

Well JP was right you get a view and they have water too. Newburgh lake could probably be named Bob's lake and fit it better but there is water anyway. The place was packed at lunch on a 100 degree day and it was suits to sweats to bikinis in the place. It probably holds 125 and if you're alone you get to sit at the bar. My buddy and I got a table in front with the lake view being preferred. VTB- Just for reference no motorcycle colors sign on the door - and that means you!

Very pretty and friendly servers in bikinis with surprising efficiency and crowd wrangling. They kept the food moving and the people too. Probably 123/2 in male to female patrons but no unusual stuff going on. Definitely less than a Hooters with a much broader food menu.

Surprisingly custom menu (really good italian ham on pretzel roll) terrific greek salad and good beer selection. Everyone was friendly and most seemed to be regulars. Burgers, steaks, big salad selection and the usual suspects in fried starters.

As mentioned I had the Italian on pretzel and the baked ham(not boiled) was very high quality, good veg and the pickled peppers were just right. Correct portion of very crunchy fries for $9 which is spot on for this market.

I'm not sure it's worth the drive from Watertucky but if I were near exit 28 (Ann Arbor rd) on 275 and wanted a little beer and burger with views and was with my buddies, I suggest a 1 mile detour. Such as going on a boys' weekend out of metro....P.S. Not good for kids for but for different reasons than the Kona Grill.
