Donuts/Doughnuts

Hello,

Huge donut fan and I will be in montral this weekend, A friend mentioned that they're are some people in montreal trying to open a new donut shop. In the meantime, they are selling their donuts at fairs. Any reviews? Does anyone know where I can find them or their name?

Thanks

Just a heads up that Jane Donut has lost a partner (not the donut-making one) and taken on a new name. Saint Donut will be at Puces POP next weekend and also at the free Arcade Fire show next week. Rachel is aiming for a fall open for her own shop but needs all the support she can get in the meantime!

If you follow their Facebook page (you don't need a Facebook account to see it) I'm sure all those things will be announced when they happen :-)

Jane Donut was pretty good, but it's too bad you can make the trip to Dora Beignets in Eastman. Holy cats, are those suckers amazing!

kpzoo, My husband and I bought six freshly made donuts one fine Sunday morning on our way back home: there two maple-iced, two chocolate-iced, and two plain sugared. It was all we could do to not wolf all of them down in the car. It's a family run bakery, they make other desserts--tarts, cakes--but oh those donuts!

Now you've got me thinking I should make a trip out there this weekend. And I would too, if I weren't peddling my own baked goods at Lennoxville Friendship Day.

Moh's mentioned Dora :-) the doughnuts are good, best eaten fresh that day.

EDIT: ah, see above. That will teach me to not read a thread entirely before responding! :D

I think you might be talking about Jane Donuts
              A review here

and they are on Facebook, which would probably give you the best chance of finding them this weekend!

                They probably mean Jane Donut:
