Has anyone been to Le ti Bouchon in St Martin?
My wife and I were there June 13. It was a wonderful evening. Compares favorably with anything we have tried in Grand Case. Bistrot Caribes would be a good point of reference. We'd rank ti Bouchon slightly superior to Bistro. ( A little less costly, neat cottage setting in French Cul de Sac, no parking hassle...) At ti, the food is fresh, menu is concise and focused on fresh , local ingredients. There is enough variety to accommodate all tastes. The unique creations and presentations are truly a one of a kind experience. We visited with the owner and enjoyed his stories of the island and his homeland, Lyon France. The menu changes seasonally with weekly "tweaks" based on local availability. We have been to the island many times over the past 6 years. Like you, we set out to find someplace "new". We passed by ti Bouchon many, many times on the way to and from the Pinel ferry and decided to make a reservation and try it. We are still debating it but ti Bouchon may well now be our "favorite" on the island ( With Bistro and very close second B-)
