dinner in northern/central nj near a train station

Can anyone make a recommendation for a good restaurant that is walking distance from a train, somewhere near Morristown or along route 80 (I'm meeting someone who is driving on 287 and 80). Any cuisine is fine.

Arthurs in Morris Plains. You can't get much closer to a train station than that. It's right across the street. Not far from 287/80 either. OK steaks. Not exactly haute cuisine but not bad for the money.

Also any restaurant on Main Street in Boonton. It's right off 287 and a short walk from the train station. Thai Ping on Main St is decent Thai food and is a short walk from the train station. Boonton Ave Grill. Food isn't the greatest but the burgers are OK.

There are several fine restaurants in Bernardsville directly across the street from the train station and right off 287

Bernards Inn -one of the state's best fine dining
Sette - BYOB small owner owned and operated Italian
Tsuki - BYOB locally owned and managed Japanese; good to excellent sushi bar
Bistro 73 - BYOB New American, good food, casual prices and feel
The Station Bar and Grill - Casual Bar/Pub

There is also Equus, a very disappointing (IMHO) but beautiful restaurant in a converted stone tavern dating back from the 1800's

      The Bernards Inn
27 Mine Brook Road, Bernardsville, NJ 07924

In Morristown itself, Sebastian's Steakhouse is right across from the station and is pretty upscale. There are also two BYO's : la Estacion (Mexican) and Andaman Sea (Thai). If you want pub grub, Hennessey's is right at the station.
