Pittsburgh chocolate

Where can I find quality chocolate in Pittsburgh? Filled truffles or bars are welcome. Can be locally made (preferable) or imported...I'm mostly interesting in trying something different.

I'm not a huge chocolate snob, I like Snickers, but if I were trying to buy something for a chocolate snob I'd try either Fudgie Wudgie (17-1800 Penn Ave) or Mon Amiee (21st and Penn), both in the strip district.

Mon Aimee Chocolat, at the corner of 21st and Penn in the Strip District.

For locally made, I really like Edward Marc in the South Side. http://www.edwardmarc.com/

Edward Marc makes their own truffles, meltaways, and hands dip their own choc. covered strawberries and their prices are really really good. I dont live in Pittsburgh anymore and now am able to get chocolates from La Maison Du Chocolat, Teuscher, et al but I would say I still really enjoy Edward Marc and their chocolates are waaay cheaper than the fancy (but still tasty) european chocolatiers.

Try costco at Christmas, or Trader Joe's (german or belgian). Or Aldi's (german chocolate).
