Fisherman's Dawta on Atlantic Ave.

This is in the short-lived Loretta's coffee shop space between Bedouin Tent & Bacchus. Small sign says Jamaican food. Google says it is the woman from Brawta. No indication when it will open but it looks fairly orderly inside..

I walked by it last night, and it actually looked like it might be open. I had groceries, so I just gave a quick peek in the door.

If it's not open, it's very, very close.

It's open now -- they have the menu on their website. (It's quite limited.)

Ate lunch there yesterday. The jerk chicken was good, and the homemade ginger beer was extremely fresh. Nice space in the backyard too -- tables with umbrellas. I think it's worth a try.
