I will be staying at the Grafton on Sunset this weekend. Are there any can't miss late night spots for some good grub? Everything is in play for me and my SO - Food trucks, diners, you name it. We will be having quite a weekend as it is wedding time for a close family member. We prefer to walk, but have no issues in grabbing a taxi.

While they're old standards, don't dismiss Barney's Beanery (for bragging rights alone) or Canter's Deli (on Fairfax). You wanna see where the rocker's go after dark? One night, grab a chair in the Kibbitz room at Canter's, order a lovely pastrami on rye and watch what happens.

In general LA is not so great -- but improving -- for late night eating.
Animal is open late - will need to cab, 10 mins away.
Red Medicine is also a cab ride away and I believe open late.
A fun, good, inexpensive Japanese place, Yatai, is very close, walking distance, to your hotel though I am not sure how late they stay open.
Night + Market (at Talesai restaurant) has late night good Thai food.
