Lunch off 95 in Westchester County?
Hi everyone,
New guy here looking for advice. I'm driving up from Philly to Rhode Island next week and I'm looking for a good place to have lunch on the way either in northern NJ, the Bronx, Westchester County, or Stamford.
Criteria
Cheap, good, quick, and not too far off 95. Understand that I will be people who would prefer to stop at a rest stop, not lose time, and get to our destination ASAP. To convince them, it can't be far off the highway. I'm thinking like a place that would be featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.
Your advice is appreciated! Thank you.

Black Duck Cafe-Westport CT. Right of I-95. Funny I went to Google to get a website for you...and it turns out they were featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.

The BDC has been a dive bar in Westport for as far back as my memory goes. The link says they are famous for their wings which are definitely good-but I always liked their steamers, lobster dinner...and burgers too.
BTW Dive and Westport is something of an Oxymoron. Even my fairly formal parents like to "slum" it at the duck.

1 block off exit 3 in Greenwich Ct is Thataway Cafe, a place right out of Triple-D. Great food, simple menu, and if the weather is good, a wonderful outdoor dining area in a park-like setting. Just over the NY-CT line.
