I miss this place SOOOOOOOO much...

  • 2

It was a Malaysian restaurant on the corner of Canal and East Broadway, on the north side, right where the block starts to curve north. I'm not even sure if it had an English name. I think it closed about two or three years ago. I used to eat there a lot with an ex-gf, who was Singaporean-Malay and who turned me on to it. This place had the BEST curry I've ever had: the roti cani was to die for, as was the chicken curry soup. Ridiculously spicy and delicious Peanut pancakes made fresh, fantastic mouse-tail noodle soup. All for less than $5.00. I miss it so...

This town needs another Malaysian place like this very badly. I like Skyway, and Jaya, and Nyonya, but they doesn't even come close.

Where's the best Malaysian, in your opinion?

  1. All those ads for Malaysian Restaurant Week are obviously working.

Ha! I actually read that original post & forgot about it! I guess the answer to my question is "you'll have to wait for something as delicious and amazing to open."
