Cooking with wine books

Can some one recommend some "cooking with wine" books? There are free recipes and information on various cooking websites. But I was wondering if any of you knew of any particularly great books you've heard about or own.

Vino Italiano. My bible. Not so much dishes that have wine in them, but the wines of Italy and dishes that pair well. Bastianich, Lynch, Batali. Enough said.

Just recently received Evan Goldstein's "Daring Pairings", but have had no time to cook lately. Looks interesting, has anyone got around to trying some of the recipes?

Goldstein has an earlier book, that I have found quite good, "The Wine Lover Cooks With Wine."

I second ChefJune's Andrea Immer/Robinson's books, and will add that there are a lot of very useful books (usually small publications) on cooking for wine, or choosing wine for meals. One needs to look deeply into Williams-Sonoma, etc., but will find many. Also, some are available in tasting rooms, especially if someone from that vineyard/winery has contributed.

          Good luck, and enjoy,

          Hunt

Seems Andrea Immer only has one "food & wine" book....

Great Tastes Made Simple: Extraordinary Food and Wine Pairing for Every Palate [Hardcover]
            Andrea Immer

The others were more about "wine appreciation". Or am I not finding another of her books?

Williams'Sonoma....will check their website. Will also check the wine shops. But was hoping for specific books any of you might favor and own.

Vino Italiano by Joe Bastianch and David Lynch has recipes (from Joe's mama, Lydia) in each chapter, featuring one of the wines from that Italian wine region. I use the book more as a reference on Italian wines, but have made the Barolo Risotto and at least a couple other recipes from the book for our wine tasting group.

After that book, she married, and is now Andrea Robinson. Without delving into the Hunt Dusty Library of Wine Books, I'd guess that she has at least three later books on wine & food.

                Enjoy,

                Hunt

Andrea Immer Robinson has a couple of very good books. She's not only a sommelier, but also a grad of the French Culinary Institute.

Scandal aside, I remember a book titled, "The Frugal Gourmet Cooks with Wine" that was a pretty decent book. Can probably still locate it on Amazon.

                  Thanks will look for it.

Did find a book from Food & Wine Magazine where they grab recipes from leading chef's like Bobby Flay. I'm assuming they all use some kind of wine. The 2010, 2009 are out. 2011 is coming later this year in October.
