hot Miami restaurant recs?

Visiting a friend for her 32nd birthday this weekend, it'll be four of us around that age. Want to take her out for a fun night--what are some hot, trendy restaurants that would be fun to go to dressed up before a night of dancing? If it helps we'll be staying at Essex House so locations near there would be perfect. Thanks!
