Navarro Vineyards Gewurztraminer Grape Juice found Cowgirl Creamery Cantina, Pt Reyes Station

They have Navarro Vineyards Gewurztraminer Grape Juice at Cowgirl Creamery Cantina (wine area in the back) for $11.95 a bottle, I got 2 bottles. The Navarro Vineyards sell theirs for $11 so not much of a markup, but they did add a Sales Tax $2.15 for 2 bottles. Navarro's website says "No tax on juice" http://www.navarrowine.com/shipping/

  1. I think I also saw some at Mill Valley Market a while back.

The winery has a policy against selling the juice to retailers.

I got a refund on the sales tax they charged me at Cowgirl Creamery Cantina, got a gift card, & they corrected it in their register. They said it is a new product. Great customer service.

It's not a new product for them. I bought it and the pinot noir grape juice well over a year ago there.

    2. I'm thinking about getting a case of this as a present for an alcohol-allergic friend (1 cent shipping sale on now) - I presume if hhc bought two bottles, it is good?

It's great. Really in a class by itself. I once had a taste of a bottle that had been aged ten years, that was remarkable.

Thank you Robert. High praise indeed coming from your discerning palate. I'm ordering a split case and can't wait for my friend to try them!

Yes, really excellent. It would be a great gift.
