I'm surprised it's that hard to find! The Columela brand is pretty good and usually not all that hard to find. Have you tried Whole foods?

My Ralphs and Gelson's didn't have it, but the (rapidly shrinking) "grocery" portion of Restaurant Spain (or is it "Spain Restaurant"?) on Glendale Bl. had some.

The stuff's available more widely than you might think. I've bought it for years at Ralph's Fresh Fare. My most recent bottle of Don Bruno I bought at Cost Plus. I'm sure any Gelson's or Whole Foods would have it.

ditto cost plus. also smart and final, but not with apple cider and red wine vinegar. it's usually with the "gourmet items" like walnut oil and the like.
