Huli Huli Chicken

I'm looking for a recipe for Huli Huli chicken...also best way to grill it? Directly on grill or rotisserie?

Huli-huli is more of a method, rather than a recipe. When I was growing up in HI my Mom simply massaged salt, pepper, and Ajinimoto (MSG) into the chicken pieces before placing between 2 wire grills that would sit atop a pit of open coals. Continual turning is the "huli-huli". Every family has their personal marinade (might be a version of teriyaki with the addition of ketchup, Worcheshire sauce, etc).
