Peruvian Food is AWESOME!

I can't say enough of this restaurant. Its the best lechon I have ever had, the best fish ceviche in town, and OH MY GOD peruvian tamales! I had no idea that this little restaurant was there. It looks like a little hole in the wall but the food is THE BEST!
Try it - you'll go back over and over. We do - at least once a week!

Their lomo saltado is a horrific rendition of the dish. They might as well call it stir fried French fries with cilantro stems

I would check with the chef. I don't think that plate is legal in the US but I could be wrong?

Of course it is. You an get it at many Ecuadorean restaurants in the Queens borough of New York City. it is expensive though.

Thank you dianaeddie for posting!!!! Had to go try it after reading the review. The lunch buffet was excellent and we're definately going back to sample more of the menu- which has a wide range of mostly peruvian entrees. On the lunch buffet the sopa de mariscos, lechon, tostones, tamales peruanos, and desserts were our favorites. It is literally a six table hole in the wall but with excellent food and a very charismatic owner/chef.
