traditional Maryland food for potluck

I'm going to a potluck and the theme is traditional Maryland food.

I'm sure there will be lots of crab dishes, so I'm trying to think of something else - maybe a peach cake, or a dessert made with Berger cookies?

Anyone have any other ideas?

  1. Ham stuffed with spiced, slow-cooked greens, sliced - completely regional and completely delicious. With some sharp cheese biscuits.....

      1. I went to a wedding in Baltimore and I can still remember the ham on biscuits.

        1. don't forget Maryland Chicken... marinated in buttermilk, breaded, browned in a cast iron skillet then covered to complete cooking. add cream as an enrichment to the pan juices and pour over top of chicken. old timey recipe!

          1. My friend recently made a Berger cookie pie for a party she went to. I'm not sure which recipe she followed, but there are lots of recipes online.
