recommendations for san antonio

Some family and I are staying in San Antonio and we would like some awesome recommendations.

We're staying near Sea World, just west of 1604, looking for something causal (anywhere from $5-$20 per person), any cuisine. Hoping to try something new rather than eat at the same old restaurant chains.
