Saffron First Visit

I am going with a group of four to Saffron for the first time(everyone's first time actually) next Wednesday and I am looking for suggestions or stand out dishes that should not be missed. We are not pickey eaters. Thanks in advance for the help.

Went to Saffron today for the first time. We had the giant beans, octopus, chicken and porcini croquettes, fried cauliflower, bisteeya, and slow cooked green beans. The octopus, green beans and croquettes were the stand out dishes. Although the bisteeya was also very tasty, it was also pretty small. Don't miss the green beans! They weren't much to look at, but they were incredibly flavorful.

Looking for more suggestions on dishes and it doesn't look like there is a tasting menu right now.

Assuming the menu on the website is the current one, these are the dishes I've had that I wholeheartedly recommend:

Fried mussels
Deviled eggs
Beef carpaccio (in fact, order two of these!)
Chicken bisteeya
Parisian gnocchi

We just went to Saffron a few weeks ago, and I would order the fried mussels, beef carpaccio (so addicting), and chicken entree again. My husband had the gnocchi an loved it. I have not had a bad dish there yet.

The lamb brains and Haloumi cheese are standout appetizers. I also love the chicken with eggplant lavosh and the lamb BLT. Be sure to try a cocktail or two as well.
