CAFE GIBRALTAR?

Curious about Cafe Gibraltar in El Granada. It has great reviews from Zagat and Fodors. Would love some opinions from the Chowhounds.

    1. I stumbled on it several years ago when a now Ex-BF took me to Half Moon Bay for my birthday and it was recommended by a local. I loved it then.

Last year, I took a foodie girlfriend there for her birthday and she was blown away and I continued to be impressed.

We especially liked the selection of how they present raw oysters (topped with a gazpacho granita, diced avocado, baby cilantro and Catalan extra virgin olive oil) and the Mezze platter (Tyrosalata, hummus, tzatziki, savory tomato jam, nazuktan, ensaladilla de piquillos, roasted garlic cloves and house marinated olives, served with flat bread)

The entree menu has changed online since I dined there, but we both remember sharing an amazing saffron rabbit.
