Beer Garden at the Wychwood Barns
Walked by the Barns with my kids on Sunday and saw this going on - they're serving homemade pizza from the brick oven at the Barns and also featuring different local breweries every Sunday through summer. It's only in the afternoons though - 1 to 4. Has anyone tried it yet? I wish they'd sell bottles of the beer to take home but they don't (for obvious legal reasons).

It's called The Brewery Market - here's the website, which includes a list of upcoming breweries:
Note that it's not happening EVERY Sunday - they're skipping long weekends, and a few others due to other things happening at Wychwood that day (such as Deli Duel on June 19th), or so as not to conflict with other beer events. Check the website for the schedule.

I went by on Sunday...the beer garden was open from 1:30-5. It was a little chaotic but is really enjoyable. FYI you need to purchase drink/food tickets before hand $5 for beer $8 for pizza at a little desk, then stand in line for the draught. Pizza oven was temporarily closed for about 30 mins while i was there. Pizza's looked great with fresh toppings. They had tables and chairs setup, however you could not leave the garden space with your beverage, which obviously is understandable.
I will be returning on future sundays.

Oh, how I LONG for a real beer garden in Toronto. The amount of green space we have should allow for it. Please let this be the next big trend, as an apartment dweller I would give anything to be able to go back to Prague for a few hours and relax in the middle of a park or forest with a giant beer.
Anyway, I'll check this out for sure, it'll have to do for now.
