What are you craving right now?

I am craving warm german sausages with lots of good sauerkraut...with fried potato pancakes on the side. strangely, I usually never crave for this combo.

                In that case, make it a buttery, flakey croissant out of the oven with some cold sweet butter and fresh strawberry jam for the time being...

                As I have celiac I have a gigantic craving for glutinous homemade bread. Add to that fresh pasta, pizza crust, doughnuts, croissants...heck - anything dripping with gluten! :-)

                      Been doing too much bla-blah about it so now it's sticking. Sausages and sauerkraut nice with friends late on Saturday with bottles of Mosel Riesling.

                        I made a big batch of pork shoulder braised in kraut when Mrs. O was out of town a while back, and froze about half of it. It's in the freezer next to a package of saucisses de Toulouse, and right now they're singing my name in two-part harmony … thanks a bunch! With mashed potatoes, please.
