Dining in West Island

We will be visiting our son in Dollard des Ormeaux in a couple of weeks and are interested in good eating in West Island, specifically Dollard or Poite Claire or thereabouts. Any really really good places?

Dejeuner Cosmopolitain (Pointe-Claire near Fairview) - awesome breakfasts
Shahi Palace (Pierrefonds) - excellent Indian though I haven't been lately

There's also a branch (the original one) in Laval. Wonderful home fries and fruity brunch dishes. Always busy, go before 10:30 to avoid long lineups.

It's a couple of blocks north of Fairview on St. John's. If you remember ChiChi's, that's exactly where it is. Or more recently, it's part of the same mall that Cheers used to be in.

The few times I've been, the food and service has been good, and leaving hungry is pretty unlikely as their portions are generous.

Cosmopolitain is great for breakfast.

I don't think we've ever mentioned http://www.lamaisonverte.ca in any of those WI threads. I ate there a couple of years ago and the food was very good, it beats the crappy boxed restaurants that dominate the WI.

way better than dejeuner inc and chez cora...
