Obika Mozzarella Bar - Brookfield Place

It has been open for a few weeks so far. Wondering if anyone has been? I have seen some news/blog posting about the preview but haven't searched out reviews yet. I was in the area this past weekend and I noticed HUGE crowds at Marche across and not so many people at this new restaurant. Maybe it is busier during lunch hours or during the week. I looked at the menu and it seems interesting enough to me to warrant a visit. Any comments?

I made a reservation a few weeks ago, to celebrate my mother's 75th birthday. I spoke to the reservation woman 3 times, including once specifically telling her we were celebrating a birthday.
When we got there, it wasn't very busy at all. When we asked to see the wine list, the waitresses face went blank...she then said "didn't they tell you when you made the reservation that our liquor license has been suspended for a while?" Argh! Wine is a big part of our dinners, so we had to leave. I couldn't believe it--three conversations and no mention of it!! It was a real bust, since trying to find somewhere to go at 8pm on a Friday isn't easy.
Maybe this is why they haven't been very busy!

Yeah I'd say that would be a pretty good reason. Plus the whole concept is pretty boring i think.
They import a bunch of stuff that you can get at any specialty food store and put it on a plate for you. When I saw the title of this thread I thought maybe they made their own mozza in house, that would be exciting.
