Grapevine
I was pretty excited last week when I noticed a "Coming Soon" sign in the old Bayley's location and saw that it will be Fuzzy's Taco's. This intersection/area badly needs a casual food establishment other than Chili's that also sells an adult beverage.
Then this morning, scanning the local Courier presented this article!

What will be next? Trader Joe's??? (The site of their first location has yet to be disclosed

Are you talking about the Bayley's at Glade Rd. off 121? (We were sad to osee the place close) If I remember correctly that place has a patio? That area is in great need of a place where you can enjoy an adult beverage and the heat on a patio. The only place now really is Rio Mambo over there.

That Bayley's, one-in-the-same and yes they have a patio. I'm very happy to see Fuzzy's going in there --- except they sure are *growing* a little fast? I need to go back to Rio's. I went when they first opened and didn't care for them for one reason or another. Need to go back for a retry.

Funny you should say that. We really like El Paisa also (barrbacoa is disappointing but the al pastor is really good.) We had never had breakfast from there, so my husband went to get some take out to bring home. He came back with two giant burritos and when I asked why didn't he get tacos he responded that "they didn' have breakfast tacos." I find this really hard to believe. But then again, I have never been through the drive thru there and am not all that familiar with the menu. But really? A mexican taco joint without breakfast tacos? Was he just not paying atttention?

Given the growth with so many recent openings, it doesn't surprise me, but had it confirmed yesterday, that the Fuzzy's in Grapevine is franchised......

I'ven tried Fuzzy's twice at 2 different locations, and I just don't get the hype. The tacos where pretty much about the same as Taco Cabana, lacking in much flavor. I woulld rather go to a real taquaria.

Big Fish Seafood Grill and Bar - exceptional fried catfish encased in a cornmeal crust. Meaty, flaky and flavorful. Sides of waffle fries and hushpuppies were a non-starter, but not really needed. Fish could make it on its own. Great service from friendly staff.
