Emerald Isle (North Carolina) - Places to Eat 2011

I read over the earlier "places to eat" posts for Emerald Isle and wondered if there are any new restaurants, updated restaurants, or overlooked ones in Emerald Isle, North Carolina.

We are renting a beach house for a week, so I'll do most of our meals at the house or outdoors on the grill. But, I like to check out local favorites when on vacation as well.

Tips on where to get local, fresh seafood would also be appreciated. We like to support and blend in with locals on our trips.

Willis Seafood in Salter Path, not the Emerald Isle branch, is one of the best seafood markets that you will ever find. Local, fresh seafood is plentiful. Family run and I believe that they own their own boats.
