Kosher Fourth of July fireworks in New York?
Does anyone offer a viewing of the Macy's fireworks over the Hudson with a kosher meal? Either from a ship or a rooftop?
I'm imagining a barbecue with kosher steaks or sausages on buns or maybe planked fish by some caterer like GotCholent on a rooftop or private deck on either bank of the Hudson.
I know that this may be wishful thinking, but , hey, a girl can dream!
I went to this back in 2007
unfortunately the Jewish owners of the warehouse on the Willamsburg/Greenpoint side of the east river, that rented the space tp the Jerusalem reclamation Project, sold the business a couple of years ago. It was great evening
I believe so. The owner of the warehouse (who ran an employee 4th of July part on the other side of the warehouse) gave the JRP free use of the lot on the other side of the warehouse. I think their only expense was the catering. Except for quick thunderstorm at the beginning of the all you could eat BBQ, it was great. Food was great, couldn't have had a better view of the fireworks either. Driving out of Greenpoint after the fireworks was a nightmare. ;-)
