Queens BBQ Caterer with Trucks Suggestions, Please?

ZenFoodist Jun 1, 2011 10:34 AM

Any idea if anyone in Queens/Brooklyn does BBQ catering? I've been at events where the Smokin' Grill comes in with their huge refrigerated trucks with grills etc and puts out a spread like nobody's business: whole hog, burgers, ribeye, ribs, wood-planked fish etc. I want something similar and hopefully a bit less expensive.

Many Thanks!

I'm not familiar with the Smokin' Grill and I'm going to guess that it's not less expensive, but I noticed a Hill Country truck in Forest Hills the other day (and my husband saw the workers in our local Key Food).. so thinking that they would do it.

That's so cool. I love Hill Country so I am going to check it out. Thanks so much, Emmers!

        Hi Lisa,
Hill Country is on our Top 3 List of BBQ joints ( specifically , their lean & fatty brisket offerings) that we normally frequent. Daisy Mae's and Dinosaur round out the list.
Going to Hill Country on a Saturday afternoon during college football season to watch a Texas game is quite an experinece. ( Especially if they play Oklahoma!)
        Regards,
        JK
