Blow out dinner in Barcelona

I'll be in Barcelona visiting my travelling girlfriend in Mid-June and I would like to take her out to a blow out, unbelievable meal. Price doesn't really matter. From what I've read, these places peak my fancy but I'm TOTALLY OPEN FOR RECOMMENDATIONS.

The only criteria is that it's nothing too formal. She will be travelling out of backpack and will only have some sort of summer dress to wear and I won't have a jacket or any kind of nice dress shirts.

Comerq 24
Cinq Sentis
El Celler de Can Roca

Thank you in advance!

I've re-arranged your list according to price but in this case, I think you GET what you pay for. I would call only the 1st name on the list a real 'blowout'; the others are all probably delicious but not of the same calibre.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to reserve a table at El Celler de Can Roca for next month. If you DO go, I wouldn't worry about fancy clothes at lunch time. I've seen some flip flops, sundresses and ripped jeans with frayed edges at lunch time. Barcelona is stylish but tolerant of the not-so-stylish.

El Celler de Can Roca is in Girona, so you will have to take the train and back (it can be a hassle). You could make a day of it and visit the medieval quarter too.

Make sure to read Heeney's Day 4 report on Girona.

Thank you for your reply. Out of restaurants that are listed (or any in the same quality level), what would be your choice? Probably not including El Celler de Can Roca.

I should also mention that we are just as much into alcohol as food, so a good wine/cocktail list and a fun room is a plus.

      Thank you in advance.

It would be tough to get a reservation at Can Roca on short notice. But if you can it would certainly be my recommendation.
If you are into cocktail-culture then you should be able to get a reservation at Bar 41 Degrees. There you can even have a mini tasting menu of elBulli snacks. You may also be able to bargain your way into Tickets in the same place, which in my opinion is handily the most memorable dining experience in the city.
Feel free to check my trip report which is posted above.
