Looking for a good lunch spot in Upper West Side... Tacos??

I'm going to be in the Upper West Side area around lunch time on Saturday and I'm looking for a good place to grab a quick lunch. I've heard about Patty's Taco truck and would love to try it or something like it. Not looking for something extravagant and I'm willing to slum it for good, cheap food.

Taqueria y Fonda on Amsterdam between 107 and 108 is the best for eat-in or take out. Definitely get the chorizo.

Go to the taco truck on 96th and broadway. You are in luck because they are only open for lunch on saturday and sunday. They are your only option for real tacos on the upper west side. I reccomend the tacos de chivo, lengua, chorizo, y tripa.

Do you know what their lunch hours are?

I think they open at noon and stay open until very late at night

Super Tacos gets a lot of love. But if it's raining or crappy out and you don't/can't sit outside, then you can try Noche Mexicana which has a sit-down restaurant. If not tacos, another cheap option in the area is El Malecon for Dominican food.
