Tonight I made a floral syrup. Mostly lavender with some orange flower water and rose water thrown in as well, in sort of caramelised. Is it still good can I use it?
I'm betting gin would work, with a some lemon, basically a riff on a sour. But strange as it may sound, bourbon and rye work well with floral components.
It isn't burnt but has wonderful consistency and taste. Now to figure what to do with it. I'm think a floral margarita and something with vodka or gin.
