Quick! Where can I pick up a gourmet side dish for a Memorial Day BBQ?

No time to cook, but I still want to bring a delicious side dish for a Memorial Day BBQ tonight. Where in the West LA/Venice area can I pick up a delicious pre made side to go with BBQ fare?

I wanted to throw in that I have tried the sides from Whole Foods before and thought they were pretty mediocre.

I know it's past the Memorial Day date.....but I love pretty much everything at Clementine's.

I had a new (for me) salad at Clementine yesterday. It was in the prepared salad case. A baby bok choy salad with dried plums in a good tart vinaigrette. Wonderful with the roast asparagus salad.

I've been visiting Gjelina Take Away most days this past week, and I'd have to say that they're the new king of take-out salads. They usually offer six salads for take-out - I've tried four - and I did bring those four that I tried to a get-together last night. All four were well-received...

I like the macaroni salad from Rutt's on Washington Blvd. in Mar Vista.

Recently someone suggested side dishes from Lemonade (there's one on Abbott Kinney). I love their salads.

+1 on Lemonade - the hardest part will be deciding on which salad(s) to choose.

I don't know if fish is in the cards, but Bristol Farms' Ahi Poke is always good.

+2 on Lemonade. That would be my absolute first choice.

I think yogachik was referring to the Rosti on Montana.
