Did they close? I guess when you have terrible and rude service, going out of business is only a matter of time.

Summit Patch says it closed, citing poor dinner business::

Just what Summit needs - another Italian sit down restaurant. Can we get someone with a little creativity? How about a real Greek place? A Japanese noodle place? A place with real, good southern fare? A good vegan place? Something that you can't already find 5 of in town? Maybe that Persian Gril down by the Harquali auto parts place should move into the center of town where people might actually see it?

I agree completely, but my vote is for Korean BBQ.

ITA--my vote would be for Greek or Vietnamese, especially bahn mi. Where does one find these around these parts?

Plenty of Greek places. Bahn mi is harder, but if you're desperate you can get one at the Vietnamese restaurant at the Kam Man market in East Hanover. Actually "restaurant" is a bit of an exaggeration. It's what you'd find in a food court, but there's no food court.

Where are the Greek places there are plenty of? By "greek places" I mean Greek cuisine, mixed grills, fresh fish, that sort of thing.

I also thought that the service was terrible. The one young woman that took care of us was absolutly obnoxious. I enjoy the two southern places in Montclair much better.
