Anyone in Barcelona want to eat at Can Roca?

Hi Chowhounders. I lurk around Chowhound, but don't really post. If my post breaks any rules, please let me know and I'll lock it.

I have a reservation at the Celler de Can Roca for Thursday, June 2nd for 2 people at 9:00. The person I was supposed to go with is now unable to attend, leaving me without a fellow diner.

I'd really rather not eat alone, so I was wondering if there was anyone who wanted to eat with me (we would each pay for our respective meals). Reading about the restaurant, I know that if I ended up not going I'd probably regret it for the rest of my life.

Send me an e-mail at tsrogers.fas @ gmail.com if you're interested.

Thanks!

    Good luck with your search.

I don't read too often of Chowhounds having dinner at El Celler de Can Roca. Many of them go for lunch and then take the train back to Barcelona. Hopefully, you have made arrangements for a hotel in Girona or your return transportation to Barna?

Last summer when we were there, every 2-3 tables were separated by a partition of some kind; either side buffet to store dishes and cutlery or decorative piece. The dining room is a huge rectangle with a garden in the centre. There is a lot of space between tables and the partitions provide much privacy. Thus, even if you are dining alone, you won't stick out like a sore thumb because the 'fingers' are not arranged in a straight row.
