All Clad at discount prices
Just a note for those of you that may be near south-western PA. All Clad will be having a factory sale at the Washington County Fair Grounds on June 3rd and 4th. I've gone to this sale for several years now and have put together a nice selection of qualty cookware. While these are seconds, the defects are usually very small. The pricing is 40 to 70% off.

There is much better cookware available than All-Clad. I sell cookware and we do stock it, if a customer is really interested in good cookware I have other lines I can show them.

re: Jay F
Is this the AC steamer with a loop you're searching for?

re: Jay F
Jay, my Bloomies had a 2 qt. All-Clad stainless steamer set for about $60. It had a 2 loop handled 2 qt. saute with lid, and a 2 loop handled steamer insert to fit. Not exactly what you wanted, but the price is great! They were about sold out though. Worth checking your local store.

re: blondelle
Thanks, Blondelle - I'm going to hit up the Semi-Annual Sale this Saturday and see if they have one. The one you describe may work better than the one I've been talking about, as a couple of people on the Amazon page say the steamer doesn't really sit right in the 3 qt. saucepan because the saucepan has the loop.
Where I live, there is no Bloomingdale's.

re: Jay F
Jay, We must not be speaking the same language. To me a loop is the C shaped handle and the long handle is a handle. No matter. Hope you find what you're looking for.
I have the steamer with the C shaped handled/loop and love it because it never gets in the way when using it with a long handled saucepan.

re: wvgardener
No. The thing that has the loop is the saucepan, not the steamer.

Here's what I said originally:
"I'm going next week to try and find a steamer insert for my 3-qt. saucepan with a loop."
I can see how the way I wrote it could cause confusion.
***INCIDENTALLY, EVERYONE, I JUST REALIZED TODAY THAT THIS EVENT IS FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, NOT SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.***

re: Jay F
Jay, you live around Pittsburgh, right? Did you know that the sale is also going on at Crate? This sale runs the 3rd through the 5th. I read about it here:
http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-d...Do you know anything about Crate? I'm actually going to be visiting OH over the weekend and the fairgrounds and Crate are about equidistant to where I'll be. Trying to decide which one to hit up.
Does anyone know if they also have things like utensils, roasters and measuring cups etc.?

re: olympia
Hi, Olympia -
It's supposed to be a nice store, where you can take cooking classes. Some years back, Giuliano Bugialli taught classes there (he lives in Phila). However, since it's not my part of town, I've never been there.
AFAIK, they would normally have all things All Clad. I don't know about for this seconds sale, though. Here's their website, which mentions 10% off on All-Clad. http://www.cratecook.com/
