quick Anaheim recs?

Just found out I'm going to spending the day in Anaheim, kind of idling around. Quick! Any good places for anything edible I visit to divert myself? I won't be in Disneyland, but kind of hanging around there, waiting for people, so I need some little chow excursions.

  1. I am probably too late, but there are a couple of African places, Tana and Merhaba for Ethiopian and Eritrean and Kenyan Cuisine for... Kenyan.

Not too far away is excellent Thai at Thai Nakorn.

    Thai Nakorn Restaurant
12532 Garden Grove Blvd, Garden Grove, CA 92843

    Tana Ethiopian Restaurant and Market
2622 W La Palma Ave, Anaheim, CA 92801

    Kenyan Cuisine
2626 W La Palma Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92801

    E A Merhaba Shop & Coffee
    2801 W Ball Rd # 5, Anaheim, CA

    1. I hear good things about the German place off the 57 exit on Ball. Jagerhaus, I believe. I have still yet to try, but the menu looks great.

      2525 E Ball Rd, Anaheim, CA 92806

      1. Fa Sai Thai-Lincoln near Citron
        Punjabi Tandoori-Anaheim Blvd. at Broadway
        Cortina Deli-Orange near Brookhurst
        Saraha Falafel-Orange near Brookhurst

All of the above feature relatively quick service, are inexpensive and very good!

I've been to Sahara once. The falafel was good and much better than the schwarma, but neither was worth a return trip for me.

        2. Slater's 50/50 for their half ground bacon-half beef burger. It's located in Anaheim Hills.

Also, Zov's Bistro and Crab Cooker both in Tustin in the Enderle shopping center.

          Zov's Bistro - 17440 E. 17th Street Tustin, CA

The Crab Cooker - 17260 17th St Tustin, CA
