Canyon lake area

My wife and I will be spending a long weekend at Canyon Lake. Any good food suggestions? We dont mind driving a bit.

I'm not sure of a better place in the area, at least for lunch. We escaped stuffed by splitting a brie BLT and a caprese / pesto panini and a cup of chilled sweet tomato / coconut soup and a decadent vanilla bean panna cotta topped with mascerated balsamic strawberries. really reasonable prices too for the quality . . and cute. i believe they even take lunch reservations. didn't see a dinner menu.
