Looking for a cup cake stand for sale..

I am looking for a cup cake stand for my wedding in January 2012. I have been looking around but couldnt find any. I will be doing cup cake as my wedding cake as the cost of wedding cakes are extremely expensive.

  1. Are you interested in renting or buying? Renting will be a lot cheaper. Here's an old thread, but the recommendations still hold true:

And here's another place that rents:

The Cupcake Shoppe also rents their stands:

Why don't you call Eini and Co. and see if you can buy a stand? Or ask them where they get theirs? Ditto for Cupcake Shoppe or really any cupcake or wedding cake shop that has stands.

I'd call the Wedding Cake Shop, too.

Aha, here you go. Good ol' Golda's has them. And they are a good price, too.

Thanks. I will surely look into it. Initially we wanted a wedding cake but we will only be having 40 people for the wedding. Looking for a 2-tired small inexpensive wedding cake but i guess it doesnt exist anymore..heheheh

What's your definition of inexpensive? There are lots of places that will make a small wedding cake for you. My choice would be to talk to Flaky Tart. They make beautiful and delicious cakes. A 6" cake there is about $40 and serves 8 - 10, so I would guess that a cake the size you need would run maybe $200? And by the time you buy a cupcake stand and the number of cupcakes you need, you're probably looking at close to $200 anyway.

      2. I thought I saw one for sale at Crate & Barrel a few months ago.

        1. Although the Golda's Kitchen one looks perfect.

          1. Have you tried Homesense? I've seen them there.

            1. re: froglegs

Homesense..really? I will try to check it out this afternoon..is it 2 tiered?

            2. I was given a 3 tiered, mirrored cupcake stand that was purchased at Bowrings. The size would be appropriate for your plans. I believe it was purchased at one of their outlet stores so you may want to give them a call.

                cool..thanks for all the inputs...

I've seen cupcakes stands at Caynes (Yonge & Doncaster), Michaels, and Walmart.
Michaels has the 23 cupcake stand for sure that i've seen, but if you're looking for a 38 cupcake stand and can't find it anywhere you can prob order off of this site.
