August Moon - Norristown
After tonight's meal, I can highly recommend August Moon for very solid Korean. Completely redone in a nice clean decor, this gem is back!
For apps, we started with a variety of shumai (pork and shrimp - both solid) and also had Seafood Pa Chun, which was outstanding, especially dipped in the Dukbokki sauce (rice cake). Overall, completely delicious. For mains, we got the bibimbap,which was outstanding with the sides to compliment it well. We got the Pork Gui to add to our rice bowls, and while the sauces were a bit different in color and flavor than what I was used to, it worked very well. Along with the $2 beer special, the meal as a whole was well prepared and delicious. Our server was very attentive but not pushy. Overall a great dining experience, reasonably priced and definitely a place to visit.
