Vineyards in Valpolicella – Amarone Lovers!

  • 7

For those of you planning a trip to Verona and are looking for information regarding vineyards to visit, I created a custom Google map as a useful travel tool – http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&...

Enjoy the Amarone! And don't forget to try the Amarone risotto... a signature local dish.

  1. The list of wineries included in the shared map (above):

    Quintarelli Giuseppe
    Dal Forno Romano
    Tomasso Bussola
    Begali
    Allegrini
    Masi
    Tomassi
    Stefano Accordini
    Ca' La Bionda
    Tedeschi
    Brigaldara
    Giuseppe Campagnola
    Nicolis
    Bertani
    Aneri
    Tinazzi
    Boscaini Carlo
    Villa Monteleone - Raimondi
    Zenato
    Le Salette
    Speri
    Buglioni
    Bonazzi
    Cantina di Soave

While there are other Amarone-producing vineyards in the Valpolicella area, the map only includes (what I believed to be) the better / best wineries in Valpolicella. They are listed in somewhat of a chronological order, so please feel free to comment on the list.

The map also includes some nice restaurants to choose from, in Verona and surrounding area.

I would like to suggest Fratelli Vogadori winery (www.vogadorivini.it): it'a a family estate in Negrar with really nice wines. It is located on the top of a hill with a wonderful Valpolicella view!

    2. fantastic, thanks for posting this!

      1. We'll be in Verona for ten days mid September without a car. Does anyone know of day trip services to Amarone wineries? Thanks.
