Seltzer Sources

Sorry for the alliteration. I'm tired of opened bottles quickly going flat. Google turned up A1 in North Hollywood. Any other suggestions on the east side for home delivery or pickup? BTW, Galco's does sell seltzer bottles but with a $13 per bottle deposit,

Alternatives that offer "home brewing" (so to speak) are also welcome.

Soda Stream seems like the answer to your question. Get the 0.5L optional bottle in addition to the 1L bottle that comes with it.

As everyone has said, six-packs from Vons. But I stopped buying those when I was gifted a SodaStream. Works well.

I, too, was tired of flat seltzer bottles. And since I'm not reasonably close to any bottling/delivery sources, I switched to canned seltzer (and club soda) from Vons. It's their "Safeway Select" store brand, it's pretty tasty, about a buck a six pack, and you'll never have to worry about flats again...

Yes. The Von's/Pavillions six pack of seltzer is a great bargain.

Thanks, but I should've been clearer. I'm tired of opened bottles of "club soda" going flat. I picked up a bottle at Galco's last month and finally used it. It was great to have as much as I wanted without worrying about the rest going to waste.

Yes, that's why I switched to cans. Open bottles go flat too fast, and 12 oz. cans are perfect for single servings...

I used to get seltzer from Al back in the late 70"s, they are the only game. I think they have a deposit also.
