reviews seem to be wildly mixed from great to god awful. have you been there recently??

    I was raised on Randazzos back in the day it was very good and the place to eat FRESH seafood in Bklyn. However I recently returned about 3 months ago and I still have agada!! The famous sauce has a lot to be desired it tasted burnt or very old. The calamari was greasy the raw clams had an odor... IMHO I would not return.. If you want calamari in Bklyn. Go to Roccos on Ft. Hamilton Pkwy..

      The linguini with shrimp sauce is good. So is the zuppa di mussels.

        According to someone I know who goes there every week, they may be having some financial "issues" right now. The linguine with shrimp sauce can be hit or miss. I hate when they overcook the pasta. What are you looking for food-wise? Italian seafood? Sheepshead Bay-area restaurants?

          I like to give places the benefit of doubt when there are mishaps....I've been to Randazzo's no less than six times in the past few years after playing golf out on Long Island and stopping for some clams and Fried Italian Seafood.....every time was a poor experience. the fried foods particularly. Over-cooked seafood in dirty oil. i won't make the same mistake this year.

            Their sauce is either one that you like or don't like. It is very thick and has a unique character, to say the least. I used to only order the fried calamari when I went, and that was always good, but it was their hot sauce that made it good.

              I agree. Calamari is the way to go.
