Most recent spanish I can think of is Manolo in Westport - have not been so cannot comment. Taberna in Bridgeport is not new but still so undiscovered, and it's great. For burgers, by favorite is still Burger Bar in Norwalk.

Peruvian in Sono: Quechua. Cute little place, with great food.

Brasitas in Stamford and Norwalk is good pan-latin cuisine.

I second Brasitas for pan-Latin. In Norwalk, I haven't been to La Paella or Meigas in Norwalk in a while, but I had very good true Spanish meals at them in the past.
