ISO The Politically Incorrect Champagne Sunday Brunch

It's not a holiday, unless birthdays count -- but I'm driving in from Sedona & need advice on finding the endangered Champagne Sunday Brunch in Phoenix. The Phoenician is a fond memory, and I know Wrigley Mansion is a choice -- but since they're closing for a remodel two weeks later, I'm concerned it won't be as good as it usually is. If anyone has gone recently, or if you know another buffet brunch -- even a casino -- please grant this birthday girl her wish: a table-groaning, free flowing champagne Sunday brunch!

Talking Stick Casino has a brunch that some people really enjoy. I happen to like T.Cook's brunch. The only other one I have heard of where you might still get unlimited champagne at an added price is Rita's Kitchen at the Camelback Inn.

Caffe Boa in Tempe isn't a buffet, but they have $18 bottomless mimosas or bellinis for brunch. The food has gone down a bit since Payton Curry left, but it's still quite good. In the interest of full disclosure, I've only ever had lunch and dinner there- never brunch, but generally good "regular" food = good brunch.

Check the restaraunt at Scottsdale Conference Resort. I've been to several events thare and the catered brunches always have very free flowing V-C champagne and mimosas. The house restqaraunt might to do something similar. Not a destination resort, but sometimes they try harder. :)
