Hello, I'm looking for a good breakfast, lunch, or dinner buffet in Montreal, near subway station, for under $20. Open to anything, sushi, Indian, mixed, etc...

Consider Le Commensal (various location). Although this buffet is vegetarian and I am not it is one of my favorite restaurants on earth. The cold table is a salad bar made in paradise. The hot table has wonderful things that even a meat-eater, and definitely a non-meat-eater, will love. They weigh your plate and charge accordingly.

You can pile your plate sky high and won't be charged more than $13.50 at lunchtime or $16.50 in the evening

Really? I didn't know they had a maximum price. Still, I think it's pretty expensive for the quality of the food they sell.

this seriously makes me want to fill up a plate with .99999 kg haha

I just reread it and it looks like if you take any fruit the maximum price doesnt apply...

They didn't before. I remember last time my wife wanted to go there a few mont ago they did have a price set to max I think it was like 17$ + taxes.

I'm not a fan at all. Somehow seeing them put plastic pouches in boiling water to reheat the pre-cooked food is a big turn off for me. They apparently have one kitchen for all their locations. Never reviewed there restaurant, to me it's pre-cooked fast food!

I'm a meat eater and I think it's bland cow feed. My veggie friends prefer other places, too.
