Excellent bakery in Nashua-Manchester, NH area

We are celebrating a special occasion with friends this weekend. I was planning on making a cake for the occasion but due to a recent injury, most likely will be unable to do so. I haven't bought a store or bakery made pastry since Patisserie Bleu closed. Can anyone recommend a bakery that makes a great cake with real buttercream frosting?

Thanks!

Dutch Epicure on 101A in Amherst is fabulous--they do amazing things with cakes, pastries and breads. http://www.dutchepicurebakery.com/

Thank you! I know exactly where this bakery is but have never been inside, as I prefer to make my own desserts. I will be calling there to place an order!

One more round of thanks. With a little more than 24 hours notice, they agreed to make the cake, which I appreciate very much. I look forward to visiting the bakery and trying their cake!

Hope you like it--the owners Mike and Rita are nice people. Check out their locally sourced selection of cheeses.

I've been ordering from the Kelley St. Bakery in Manchester. I adore the champagne cake. I never leave without a small cannoli.
