Rare ramen? Please help a fellow Hound!
Hi everyone,
I've been looking and looking to buy this ramen (see photo) anywhere in Southern California, which I used to find at my friendly local Nijiya Market with ease. But, I haven't seen it for quite some time now.
My suspicion is that the packaging may have changed or something... Since I am not fluent or literate in Japanese, I need your collective assistance...
Where can I buy this ramen in L.A. or greater SoCal?!
As always, Thanks in advance!
J.L.

I'm surprised you would be having so much trouble finding Chicken Ramen. It's the original product from Nissin that put Ando Momofuku in business, way before Cup o' Noodles. I don't think they would redesign the product since it's been around since 1958. I think the only thing they redesigned is the indentation in the noodle "patty" to hold a raw egg, but that was years ago. I wonder if its disappearance has more to do with lack of shipments out of Japan post-quake/tsunami. Check around all the big Japanese markets. I've always seen it around Mitsuwa or Marukai.
