Corpus Christi Recommendations Please
My business partners and I will be in Corpus for a week in June and would appreciate fine dining recommendations. We are most interested in fresh seafood. I have not been to Corpus for years but remember Catfish Charlie's and Snoopy's Pier fondly. I have currently read reviews of Dragonfly. Is it worth a try?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Black Diamond Oyster Bar, Little hole in the wall, super fresh oysters, shrimp & other seafood.
I've only had the raw oysters and fried shrimp, but they are fantastic and I go every time I am in the area, 7202 So. Padre Island Drive
Also, we like Pier 99, down by the Lex and the State Aquarium. Good oysters, friendly service.
I would avoid grilled fish here as the always seem to overcook it. -
I had lunch today at Vietnam Restaurant at 701 North Water St.. Unbelievable meal,, as good as I've experienced living in Houston! They serve fresh fish of the day, everyday... Today happened to be flounder and redfish,, you pick the cooking method and sauces the catch is cooked in.. As a bonus,, the V Boutique Hotel is attached.. I'm told the rooms are unique and competitive with rates in the area.. You can have your cake and it it too!!! Room svc includes the menu from the restaurant! Awesome dining experience in this upscale Vietnamese Restaurant,,, I'll be back,, as Arnold said!
